“BBQ FOR THE TROOPS” SUPPORTING LOCAL TROOPS
Saturday, November 18th, 12pm-2pm
Everyone is being invited to join NIMNICHT CHEVROLET as they “fire” up the grill on Saturday, November 18. Nimnicht Chevrolet, with partners USO and BJ’S Wholesale Club, is raising awareness and funds for local troops and their families during Military Family Appreciation Month.
Nimnicht Chevrolet will be hosting the USO BBQ FOR THE TROOPS on Saturday, November 18th, from 12p.m. – 2 p.m. Nimnicht Chevrolet is located at 1550 Cassat Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32210. There will be food and fun with free BJ’s Wholesale Club grilled hamburgers and hot dogs while supplies last.
“It’s important to remember that while those enlisted in the Armed Services make a great sacrifice for their country, the loved ones who stay behind are also patriotic,” said Scott Garman, Nimnicht Chevrolet General Sales Manager. “The entire month of November recognizes and celebrates their dedication.”
Nimnicht Chevrolet will donate $100 for every car sold on the day of the event. All of the money raised will help the local USO provide services and support for the troops deployed and at home, military families, wounded, ill and injured troops as well as families of the fallen.
The mission of the USO is to “Strengthen America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.” The USO accomplish their mission by providing several “troop approved” programs, referral services and no-cost/low-cost services from three USO Centers located in Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida. The USO is not a Government Funded Agency and receive no federal, state or local government funding.
